Anirva sells Sleep Harmony, a dietary supplement. Anirva is not affiliated with Relaxium. This article describes Relaxium Sleep using label text read on September 21, 2026. Labels can change, so the bottle in your hands is the final word. Relaxium and Valerest are trademarks of their owner.
If you are wondering what is in Relaxium Sleep, the answer is on its Supplement Facts panel. This article lists each ingredient and its amount as printed on the label. It explains what the terms on the panel mean and notes where versions of the label differ. It sticks to what the label says, and it does not rate the product.

Key Takeaways
- The 60-capsule label lists eight ingredients per 2-capsule serving: magnesium, L-tryptophan, Valerest, ashwagandha, GABA, chamomile, passionflower and 5 mg of melatonin.
- Valerest is a proprietary blend. The label gives its total weight, 228.9 mg, and names its two components, valerian root extract and hops extract. It does not give the amount of each.
- Serving size differs by bottle. The 60-capsule label shows 2 capsules. A retailer listing for a 120-capsule bottle shows 1 capsule and 100 mg of L-tryptophan.
- Other ingredients are hypromellose (the vegetarian capsule), dicalcium phosphate, silica and magnesium stearate.
- The label's directions are 2 capsules 30 to 60 minutes before bed. It also says up to 4 capsules a night.

What Is on the Relaxium Sleep Label?
The most complete label text I found is on a Swanson Vitamins listing for the 60-capsule bottle (SKU REL001), which reproduces the Supplement Facts panel. The maker's ingredient page lists the same amounts for each ingredient. I read both on September 21, 2026.
The panel shows a serving size of 2 capsules and 30 servings per container. Amounts are per serving.
| Ingredient, as Printed | Amount per Serving | % Daily Value |
|---|---|---|
| Magnesium (as magnesium oxide, magnesium citrate and magnesium bisglycinate) | 100 mg | 24% |
| L-Tryptophan | 500 mg | Not established |
| Valerest® proprietary blend: valerian (root) extract 5:1 and hops (aerial part) extract 10:1 | 228.9 mg | Not established |
| Ashwagandha (root and leaf) extract, standardized to 8% withanolide glycoside conjugates | 125 mg | Not established |
| GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) | 100 mg | Not established |
| Chamomile flower powder | 75 mg | Not established |
| Passionflower flower extract 10:1 | 75 mg | Not established |
| Melatonin | 5 mg | Not established |
The maker's page words two items slightly differently. It says "magnesium citrate, glycinate, oxide" and "chamomile extract." The retailer's panel says "magnesium oxide, magnesium citrate and magnesium bisglycinate" and "chamomile flower powder." The amounts match.
What the Terms on the Label Mean
Magnesium. The panel lists 100 mg with 24% of the Daily Value. NIH explains that the panel declares the amount of elemental magnesium, so this is 100 mg of magnesium itself. The label names three forms and does not list how much comes from each.
L-tryptophan. This is an amino acid. The maker's page notes that the body makes serotonin and melatonin from it. The label lists 500 mg per serving.
Valerest. A blend groups several ingredients under one name. FDA's guide says the label must show the blend's total weight and list the components in order of weight. It does not have to show each component's amount. Here, valerian extract is listed first and hops extract second. Ratios such as 5:1 and 10:1 describe how concentrated an extract is. As one example, a label in NIH's label database describes 20 mg of a 5:1 valerian extract as equivalent to 100 mg of root.
Ashwagandha. The label lists 125 mg of an extract standardized to 8% withanolide glycoside conjugates. NIH says that standardization can help keep batches consistent, and that the word alone does not show product quality.
Melatonin and the rest. Melatonin, GABA, chamomile and passionflower have no Daily Value, so the panel shows "not established" for them, as it does for L-tryptophan, Valerest and ashwagandha.
Bottle Versions and Serving Size
Not every Relaxium Sleep bottle carries the same panel. A Costco listing for a 120-capsule bottle shows a serving size of 1 capsule and 120 servings. In the excerpt I could read, it lists 100 mg of magnesium, 228.9 mg of Valerest, 125 mg of ashwagandha, 100 mg of GABA and 75 mg of passionflower per serving. It lists L-tryptophan at 100 mg, compared with 500 mg on the 60-capsule panel. The excerpt ends after the passionflower line.
Check the serving size and the L-tryptophan line on the bottle you have. Relaxium also sells other products, including gummies and quick-melt forms, with their own formulas. This article covers the Relaxium Sleep capsules.
Other Ingredients, Directions and Warnings
On the 60-capsule label, the "Other ingredients" list reads hypromellose (a vegetarian capsule), dicalcium phosphate, silica and magnesium stearate. The label states that the product contains no GMO, gluten, nuts, yeast, sugar, dairy, eggs, fish, shellfish, soy, corn, wheat, barley or artificial ingredients.
The suggested use is 2 capsules 30 to 60 minutes before bed, and the label adds that up to 4 capsules a night may be taken. The warning tells readers to consult a healthcare professional before use if they are pregnant, nursing or taking any medication. It also advises against use with alcohol, while driving and while operating machinery. The panel carries the standard FDA statement that claims have not been evaluated by the FDA.
Comparing Labels With Research
Amounts used in studies vary by ingredient and by form, so a label amount on its own does not say how a product compares with the research. Our articles on melatonin, magnesium and herbs list the amounts studies used. To compare any two sleep supplement labels, start with the serving size, then read the amount beside each ingredient, the blend lines, and the Other ingredients list.
Good to Know
The Short Version
Relaxium Sleep's 60-capsule label lists eight ingredients per 2-capsule serving, including 5 mg of melatonin and a Valerest blend of valerian and hops extracts totaling 228.9 mg. Bottle versions can differ in serving size and in the L-tryptophan amount, so the panel on your bottle is the one to read.
